Built in 1911 for Colonel Coghill and his wife, believed to have been a wedding present from her family.
During the 2nd World War used for service men at Tern Hill Barracks
In the 50s turned into a hotel, shortly after opening there was a fire which destroyed most of the roof and the top floor.
Still operated as a Hotel until The Marson Family purchased Tern Hill Hall in 2011.
A truly stunning refurbishment of the ground floor rooms and most of the 1st floor was completed.
The Stunning new Ballroom and Orangery opened to create a new dynamic to the hall.
Tern Hill Hall is being run by The Marson Family and a carefully selected team of staff hosting Weddings, Events and Special Occasions.
Including Sunday dining, conferences and teambuilding days.
We also hold a number of concerts and themed evenings throughout the year with well-know and established groups and tribute acts (QE2 queen, Pure Presley, The Mersey Beatles, The performers from the west end and more) along with Murder Mystery Events.
The refurbishment of the top floor and the 3 remaining bedrooms on the 1st floor is planned for the near future to further enhance your experience at Tern Hill Hall.
The 6 acres of land which Tern Hill Hall stands in is maintained and improved year on year to a high standard including making more areas outside for photographs.
With the feedback we have received from our customers more concerts are currently being planned as they are hugely successful evenings with many customers returning show after show.
